Vice President Kim Yongseon, Project Planning for 4 Years
Professor Lee Tae-eun, Architecture Professor for 26 Years
Kim Yong-seon, Vice President of Samyook University, and Lee Tae-eun, Professor of the Department of Architecture, were selected as meritorious persons for the '43rd Teacher's Day' and received a commendation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education.
According to Samyook University on the 5th, Vice President Kim and Professor Lee were recognized for their exemplary practice of the right educational philosophy and strong sense of mission, serving as role models, and for their dedicated efforts contributing to the advancement of education, receiving commendations.
Since 2016, Vice President Kim served as the Dean of Student Affairs for four years and planned various projects such as the Challenge Project, Annapurna Trekking Project, 1004-Person Blood Donation Project, Warm Person Project, Unification Youth Goes from Halla to Baekdu, and the Self-Respect Scholarship Contest.

Also, from 2016 for eight years, he produced over 60 banner slogans and posted them throughout the campus. He created phrases such as "There goes someone who will become a book someday," "I will bloom flowers, you cheer up," and "You are now walking toward happiness."
Professor Lee has contributed to the academic promotion of architecture by researching and teaching architectural design, architectural decoration, and cultural spaces for 26 years since joining Samyook University in 1998. Especially as an expert in performance hall architecture, he served as the president of the Korean Institute of Cultural Architecture (KICA) and provided design and usage consulting for numerous cultural facilities such as the National Theater of Korea, National Library of Korea, Ajugae Hall at Seoul Museum of History, Daehangno Arts Theater, and Arko Arts Theater.
Recently, he has been active in public architecture and public design fields as a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Architecture Committee, architectural committee member of Nowon-gu, public architect of Namyangju City, design advisory committee member of Guri City, and landscape committee member of Pocheon City.
