The High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Agency (Chief Oh Dong-woon) is publicly recruiting a new spokesperson.
On the 4th, the agency announced that it is seeking a spokesperson to handle case publicity and online communication tasks.

The spokesperson position at the agency is at the manager level (Grade 4 general fixed-term position) with a three-year term.
The agency stated, "To strengthen expertise in public communication and communication with the public, we plan to recruit external professionals with extensive legal knowledge or media experience. The recruitment process will include document screening and interviews."
Eligibility requirements include ▲ those with more than 4 years of practical experience in trials or investigations after obtaining a lawyer's license ▲ those with more than 2 years of media-related practical experience after earning a doctoral degree, more than 5 years after a master's degree, or more than 7 years after a bachelor's degree ▲ those with more than 12 years of media-related practical experience, or those with more than 2 years of practical experience at Grade 5 or higher.
Preference will be given to journalists with experience working in the social affairs department of media outlets or media professionals holding a lawyer's license.
The agency plans to accept applications by registered mail from the 10th to the 14th, followed by document screening and interviews, and appoint the new spokesperson in July.
Hwang Sang-jin, the inaugural spokesperson of the agency, will complete his three-year term and retire on the 8th of next month.
