Hamyang County Hosts Weekend Health Tour Program at Sangnim Forest

Health Tour at Sangnim Forest Held for Disability Activity Support Workers in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, Jeonnam

Hamyang County in Gyeongnam announced on the 4th that it held a 'Health Tour' for 90 disability activity assistants from the Gwangsan-gu Disabled Association in Gwangju Metropolitan City at the Sangnim Park area.

The health tour included forest playtime, which helped relieve stress and promote blood circulation through activities such as Ojaemi and rope games, as well as barefoot walking.

The activity assistants who participated in the experience said, "We thought Hamyang in Gyeongnam was far away, but we didn't know there was such a wonderful forest so close by. We definitely want to visit again with our families, and we would like to thank the health tour instructors who helped us heal in the forest."

Kim Boksoo, head of the Wild Ginseng Anti-Aging Office, said, "We ask for your interest and participation in the Sangnim Forest Health Tour, which combines health promotion and tourism, and the Simgim (Mind and Body) Play Program in cooperation with the Wellness Tourism Cooperative."

Meanwhile, applications for the health tour can be made on-site every Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. at the booth next to the deer statue at the Wild Ginseng Theme Hall. Online reservations can also be made by searching for 'Hamyang Anti-Aging Center' on Naver and making a reservation in advance.
