This recharge incentive and limit increase are intended to revitalize the local economy and activate local businesses in connection with the 'Gyeonggi Big Sale to Revive the Economy' hosted by Gyeonggi Province. With the increased incentive and recharge limit, if consumers recharge 500,000 won, the actual usable amount will be 535,000 won.

Yongin Y-Pay can be used at about 26,000 affiliated stores including restaurants, hospitals, and academies with annual sales under 1 billion won. Stores with sales under 3 billion won, such as clinics, pharmacies, postpartum care centers, and traditional markets, are also allowed to be affiliated stores.

It is in the form of a prepaid rechargeable card, and Samsung Pay users can register on the app to use it as a mobile simple payment service without a physical card. Affiliated stores can be checked through the Gyeonggi Local Currency app or the Yongin City website.
