The White House stated, "The Vice President will emphasize the Biden-Harris administration's commitment to supporting Ukraine's efforts to secure a just and lasting peace based on Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the principles of the United Nations Charter."
It added, "The Vice President will reaffirm support for the people of Ukraine who are defending themselves against the ongoing Russian aggression."
Leaders from several European countries will attend the Ukraine Peace Summit, while Russia and China will not participate. During this period, President Joe Biden is scheduled to attend a fundraising event in Los Angeles (LA) hosted by actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
