Dankook University Hospital announced on the 3rd that it received the highest grade, Grade 1, in the 'Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Adequacy Evaluation' conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.


Dankook University Hospital received consistently high scores across all areas, including △the number of neonatal intensive care unit beds per dedicated specialist △the rate of specialized equipment and facility availability △the rate of infection control protocol implementation. In particular, it achieved perfect scores in △severity assessment implementation rate △neonatal resuscitation training completion rate △surveillance culture implementation rate for outborn neonates, earning recognition as an excellent neonatal intensive care unit.


Hospital Director Kim Jae-il stated, “Together with the Regional Emergency Medical Center and Regional Trauma Center, we will make every effort to actively utilize transport means such as doctor helicopters to ensure that treatment for high-risk mothers and newborns is never delayed.”
