POSCO E&C 'The Sharp Riomont' Launches This Month... First 'The Sharp' in Sasang-gu, Busan

POSCO E&C announced on the 3rd that it plans to launch sales of 'The Sharp Riomont' in Busan this month.

The Sharp Riomont will be developed on 132 Eomgung-dong, Sasang-gu, Busan, consisting of 11 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to a maximum of 29 floors above ground, with a total of 1,305 households and exclusive areas ranging from 39 to 84㎡. Among these, 866 units with exclusive areas of 59, 72, and 84㎡ will be available for general sale.

The complex name combines POSCO E&C's apartment brand 'The Sharp' with the Spanish words 'Rio' meaning river and 'Monte' meaning mountain, emphasizing its prime location surrounded by both the Nakdong River and Seunghak Mountain.

Regarding transportation, Eomgung Station on the Sasang-Hadan Line (scheduled to open in 2026) is under development about 400 meters away on foot, providing a station-area location. Additionally, the Seunghak Tunnel (planned), connecting western Busan and downtown Busan, is being promoted, which is expected to greatly improve accessibility to downtown Busan.

Benefits are also expected from the development of the 'Western Busan Administrative Complex Town' (scheduled for 2027), which will serve as Busan's second government office, and the 'Sasang Dream Smart City' (planned), a digital technology-integrated project in the Sasang industrial area.

Nearby facilities include schools such as Eomgung Elementary and Donggung Elementary, which are within walking distance, and plans for a boarding middle school and an autonomous public high school in the vicinity. Lotte Mart, E-Mart, Sasang Bus Terminal, and government offices are also close by, offering excellent residential convenience.
