Audi Korea announced on the 3rd that it will recruit player escorts who will enter the stadium with players during the friendly match between FC Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur to be held in August.
Eight escorts will be selected, and applicants must be between 6 and 10 years old, with a height of at least 110 cm but less than 130 cm. Applications will be accepted until the 12th, followed by interviews, and the final members will be selected at the end of this month. The selected player escorts will be allowed to watch the match on-site with one guardian.
The prestigious German professional football club FC Bayern is visiting Korea for the first time as part of the Audi Summer Tour 2024. Now in its 9th year, this event is a preseason marketing tour and training camp held annually since 2014 by FC Bayern in partnership with Audi. This year’s friendly match will be held on August 3rd at Seoul World Cup Stadium against Tottenham.
Applications can be submitted via Audi Korea’s official Instagram by posting a photo of the child along with the reason for applying, including the required hashtags. Audi has supported this club since 2002, and the partnership between the two sides has been extended until 2029.
