Pamicell, Increasing Demand for Low Dielectric Materials Due to AI Industry Growth

Pamiscell's low dielectric constant material business has secured sales scalability in the AI advanced materials sector, coinciding with the global artificial intelligence (AI) market growth trend.

Pamiscell announced on the 3rd that cumulative sales in the low dielectric constant material sector reached 6.2 billion KRW through May this year, showing rapid growth compared to the previous year.

Low dielectric constant materials have excellent electrical properties and are used as core materials for network board CCL (Copper Clad Laminate). Copper Clad Laminates (CCL) applied with low dielectric constant materials are utilized in special hardware AI accelerators that accelerate AI, including artificial neural networks and machine vision. Pamiscell's low dielectric constant materials are supplied as important materials to global AI semiconductor companies through major domestic corporations.

As recent global AI companies such as Meta, Microsoft, X.AI, and OpenAI are focusing on building data centers, advanced materials closely related to the AI market are evaluated as a field with great growth potential.

A Pamiscell representative said, "Cumulative sales of low dielectric constant materials in the first half of the year show high growth compared to the previous year," adding, "We are increasing production capacity in preparation for a sharp increase in demand in the second half of this year." They further stated, "In addition to the active pharmaceutical ingredients that have driven existing growth, the sales structure of advanced materials will become solid along with the growth of the AI market."
