Nongshim Hosts Logo Song and Jingle Contest 'Life is TastySONG'

From June 24 to July 23, about 1 month
5 teams selected each for 'Logo Song·Jingle' categories, Grand Prize cash award of 10 million won

Nongshim announced on the 3rd that it will hold a logo song and jingle contest titled "Life is Delicious with Nongshim SONG." This contest is characterized by significantly lowering the entry barrier so that anyone can easily and enjoyably participate by simply humming a tune.

The contest is open to everyone regardless of nationality, and participants can enter individually or as a team. The submission categories are divided into two: "logo song" and "jingle." The logo song category requires an original composition under one minute featuring the lyrics "Life is delicious, Lovely life Lovely food, Nongshim," while the jingle category involves creating a melody under five seconds that fits Nongshim's slogan "Life is delicious, Nongshim." Participants must upload their entries to a YouTube channel and submit the URL.


The submission period runs for about one month from June 24 to July 23. Afterward, professional judges and Nongshim employees will vote, and by the end of August, five winners from the logo song category and five from the jingle category?a total of ten teams?will be announced. The grand prize for the logo song category is 10 million KRW, with total prize money amounting to 27.5 million KRW.

Nongshim has appointed singer-songwriter Jang Ki-ho as the head judge for the contest. Jang Ki-ho, a member of the band "Bitgwa Sogeum," is a musician who has been actively performing for about 40 years since his debut. Nongshim plans to use the winning entries for various content productions, including music videos linked to Nongshim products and social media (SNS), and will also apply them to offline retail barcode sounds and voice advertisements in the future.


A Nongshim representative said, "We prepared this contest to reflect Nongshim's value of being part of the daily lives of people of all ages and genders," adding, "Even those without a music background can easily and enjoyably participate and create Nongshim’s representative melody themselves. We hope for much interest and participation in this contest."
