Report of a 'Blue Satgat' Man Spotted on Subway Line 4
Wearing a Satgat Like a Game Character with a Taegeukgi Attached
A man dressed in a blue robe was spotted on Seoul Subway Line 4, drawing attention.
On the 1st, a photo titled "A Dosa Appears on Line 4" was posted on an online community. The man in the photo is wearing a blue satgat and traditional Dosa attire while sitting in a priority seat inside the subway. A Taegeukgi flag is hanging from the tip of his cane, catching the eye. Behind the man, the "Nowon" station sign is visible, indicating it is Line 4. It is presumed that he was seen by citizens near Chang-dong Station, about one stop away.
Netizens who saw the story responded with cheerful comments such as "I thought I entered a world from a game," "A person captivated by the concept," "It must be very hot in this weather," and "Isn't this a wizard from a game world who came to the real world?" Netizen A said, "I have been seeing this person on Line 1 for 10 years," and added, "This time, it seems he had to go somewhere else and transferred from Line 1 to Line 4."
Meanwhile, this is not the first time a subway passenger has attracted attention inside the subway. Especially on Line 1, stories of encounters with homeless people, beggars, fanatics, and street vendors have been posted one after another, leading to the creation of the new term "Line 1 Villain." In January, a story about a man parodying the character "Jarvan IV" from the game League of Legends (LoL) was reported, drawing interest.
