Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, Special Lecture on 'Mock Interviews' to Support Youth Employment

Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 2nd that it will operate a special lecture titled "Mock Interview Leading to Success" for young people preparing for employment.

Following the self-introduction letter writing lecture, this youth employment support project aims to help participants build confidence in interviews by developing situational responsiveness and speaking skills.

The special lecture will be held on June 18 at the Cheongcheong Platform in Gwangsan-gu (4th floor of the Cheomdan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, 160 Cheomdan Jungang-ro).

To effectively prepare for real interviews, the program consists of △ interview posture and precautions △ 1-minute self-introduction △ mock interview session and feedback process.

Fifteen participants aged 19 to 39 who reside or are active in Gwangsan-gu will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis until June 17.

Applications can be submitted by accessing the QR code on the web poster and filling out the participation application form.

A Gwangsan-gu official said, “We hope that the mock interview experience will help young people in Gwangsan-gu succeed in employment,” and added, “We will continue to promote various programs to strengthen youth employment capabilities.”
