Autonomous Vehicles and Drones Equipped with Obstacle Detection Function
Samsung Electronics announced on the 2nd that it will expand its lineup of robot vacuum cleaners by launching the online-exclusive product 'Bespoke Steam.'
Bespoke Steam is a product that lowers the price burden by differentiating the object recognition function while maintaining the steam cleaning station and cleaning performance of the 'Bespoke AI Steam.'
It cleans by detecting obstacles ahead using obstacle detection and bumper sensors used in autonomous vehicles and drones.
It senses an area 79% wider than the sensors of the existing 'Bespoke Jet Bot,' quickly and accurately recognizing the structure and size of the home.
The AI floor recognition function, which distinguishes floor environments such as hardwood floors and carpets and cleans accordingly, has been maintained.
It also applies the mop management functions of the Bespoke AI Steam, including high-temperature mop washing, mop steam sterilization, and hot air mop drying.
Hwang Tae-hwan, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, "We hope consumers enjoy a diverse cleaning experience that suits various lifestyles with a more diverse lineup and options."
Bespoke Steam will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting from the 3rd.
