Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Invites Over 20 Foreign Influencers for 'DMZ Unique Tour' Gyeonggi Tourism Organization held the 'DMZ OPEN' event, a guided tour program including accommodation at the DMZ Pyeonghwa Nuri Camping Site, for about 20 foreign influencers from May 31 to June 1.

The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization conducted a unique 'DMZ Tour Program' for over 20 foreign influencers.


On June 2, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that from May 31 to June 1, it held the 'DMZ OPEN' guided tour event, which included accommodation at the DMZ Peace Nuri Camping Site, for more than 20 foreign influencers.


Influencers from 15 countries, including the United States and France, will promote this DMZ tour in their native languages through platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.


Through this global promotion, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization expects more foreigners to participate in the Imjingak Peace Nuri and the 'DMZ OPEN' tour.


The DMZ OPEN tour product is a collaborative offering among DMZ-related organizations such as the Ministry of Unification, Paju City, and Paju DMZ Gondola. It is a tour program that allows travelers to explore various contents of Imjingak Peace Nuri, including the Civilian Control Zone, with guided explanations. The program started on the 1st of this month and will run until November 17.


Shin Young-gyun, head of the DMZ Business Office at the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, said, "Imjingak Peace Nuri offers a small but meaningful sightseeing experience, a camping site right next to the Civilian Control Line, and the guided tour 'DMZ OPEN' with various contents," adding, "We will make the DMZ more accessible and enjoyable to the public."
