Why Are Human Relationships Difficult? A Lecture on Understanding and Healing Your Mind

"Why Are Human Relationships So Difficult?"... Gwanak-gu 'Mind Healing Special Lecture'

Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) will hold a special lecture on mental health management and relationship recovery at 2 p.m. on June 24 in the main auditorium of Gwanak-gu Office.

According to the "Korea Safety Report 2023," as of 2022, Korea's suicide rate was 25.2 per 100,000 people, highlighting the ongoing importance of respecting life.

In response, the district has prepared an opportunity for residents who are physically and mentally exhausted and in need of mutual comfort to understand their own feelings and improve mental health through relationship recovery.

This special lecture will be conducted by psychiatrist Moon Yo-han, who researches integrative psychological healing and self-care.

The main lecture topics are ▲ Why are human relationships difficult? ▲ How to understand and recover your own mind.

Applications can be made online through the Gwanak-gu Office website or by phone. The number of participants is limited to the first 200 applicants.

A district official said, "In these times when mutual support is needed, we hope many residents participate in this special lecture and have a time to feel at ease."

The Gwanak-gu Mental Health Welfare Center provides various counseling services available to all residents and crisis intervention services for high-risk suicide groups.

On October 1, the district plans to invite Professor Kim Kyung-il from Ajou University’s Department of Psychology to present another healing lecture titled "Wisdom of the Mind," focusing on ways to achieve happiness.
