‘Tap Water Promotion Assistant’ Activities for Two Years Starting June 1
The Ulsan Waterworks Headquarters (Director: Kim Sangyuk) has appointed 98 members as the 9th class of Tap Water Love Housewife Monitors.
The Tap Water Love Housewife Monitors are responsible for promoting the safety of tap water, making policy suggestions related to waterworks, and conducting monitoring activities.
The monitors are distributed by region, with 18 in Jung-gu, 20 in Nam-gu, 20 in Dong-gu, 20 in Buk-gu, and 20 in Ulju-gun, totaling 98 members. They will serve for two years from June 1 next month until May 31, 2026.
The Waterworks Headquarters will support various activities such as workshops and water purification plant tours to enhance the work capabilities and communication of the housewife monitors.
An official from the Ulsan Waterworks Headquarters said, "We hope that the newly appointed housewife monitors will guide citizens on waterworks-related systems and policies and widely promote the positive value of clean and safe tap water."
