The Seoul Queer Festival organizing committee will hold a rally on the 1st in the Jonggak area, followed by a march along the Jongno and Toegye-ro areas. The Queer Festival opposition committee will hold a rally around Sejong-ro and then move toward Tongil-ro.
On the same day, large-scale rallies such as the nationwide protest condemning the Marine Corps special prosecutor law rejection and the candlelight action criticizing the government are expected, causing traffic congestion throughout Seoul. The police plan to deploy personnel around the rally and march routes and manage traffic flow by directing vehicles to detours.
A Seoul police official stated, “Traffic congestion is expected around Sejong-daero and Namdaemun-ro,” and urged, “Please use public transportation such as the subway as much as possible, and if you must use a vehicle, check traffic information in advance.”
