On the 30th, F.D. Roosevelt University Hospital in Bansk? Bystrica, Slovakia, where Prime Minister Fico is hospitalized, announced on social media that "the Prime Minister is receiving routine treatment and the patient's condition is satisfactory." The hospital made this statement after a comprehensive health check of Prime Minister Fico on the 27th and 28th.

Prime Minister Fico was shot on the afternoon of the 15th in Handlov?, a suburb of Bratislava, while meeting supporters after a cabinet meeting. He was hit by three of the five bullets fired by the assailant, striking his abdomen and chest.

The assailant was arrested at the scene, and Prime Minister Fico was urgently transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he underwent approximately five hours of emergency surgery.

Although Prime Minister Fico has entered a recovery phase, the Slovak government expects it will take a long time before he can return to normal life. Deputy Prime Minister Robert Kali??k stated, "The Prime Minister's recovery is on the right track," but added, "Because the injuries were very severe, the recovery will take a long time."
