Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) held a kickoff meeting for the 3rd New Town G-UP (Urban Planner) Committee at the Suwon Convention Center on the 30th.
The G-UP Committee is composed of 42 experts in urban planning, architecture, transportation, environment, landscaping, industry, society, and real estate. The committee will provide advice for the successful development of new towns at each stage, including district planning, design, construction, and operation management of the 3rd New Towns in which GH participates.
At the G-UP Committee meeting held that day, expert consultations were conducted to ensure the early stabilization of 14 districts of the 3rd New Towns in the province where GH participates, and to create eco-friendly, cultural spaces, and family-centered, work-residence proximity Gyeonggi-type new towns.
Kim Se-yong, President of GH, said, "We have appointed the best experts in each field to create Gyeonggi-type 3rd New Towns," and promised, "With the collective intelligence of experts, GH executives and employees will make every effort to create the best new towns welcomed by the residents of Gyeonggi Province."
