Sahakyeongeum Conducts '2024 Retirement Preparation Training' for Retiring Faculty Members

The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (hereinafter referred to as PSTPS) announced on the 30th that it will conduct the '2024 1st Retirement Preparation Training for Teachers Scheduled to Retire' at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul from May 30 to 31, targeting approximately 190 teachers scheduled for retirement (including honorary retirement).

This training consists of education on the PSTPS system and health insurance system, special lectures on asset management and tax saving for retirees, government support policies for career management, and customized oriental medicine health care lectures. It is expected to serve as a platform for participants to share know-how on retirement preparation and post-retirement life through social interaction.

Chairman Song Hajung stated, "I hope this training will provide valuable information so that teachers approaching the third act of their lives can systematically prepare for a comfortable and happy retirement."

The retirement preparation training, implemented by PSTPS to contribute to the stable post-retirement life of retired teachers, has received strong support from many teachers since 1999. In 2024, it will be conducted in four sessions for about 800 participants, the same as the previous year. For teachers who find it difficult to attend the training, regional retirement preparation briefings and online education through the PSTPS integrated welfare platform are provided.
