Trot singer Kim Ho-jung, who is accused of drunk driving and hit-and-run, will be handed over to the prosecution in custody.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul plans to send Kim to prosecution in custody at 8 a.m. on the 31st, applying charges including dangerous driving causing injury and hit-and-run injury under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes.
Lee Kwang-deuk, CEO of Saenggak Entertainment, and Director Jeon will also be sent to prosecution in custody, while Kim's manager will be sent without detention.

Kim is accused of fleeing after causing an accident by colliding with a taxi on the opposite side of the road in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 11:40 p.m. on the 9th.
Shin Young-hee, the judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court, held a pre-arrest detention hearing for Kim on the afternoon of the 24th and issued an arrest warrant citing "concerns about evidence destruction." Warrants were also issued for CEO Lee and Director Jeon on the same day.
CEO Lee is accused of instructing Kim's manager to falsely surrender after the accident (instigating concealment of a criminal), and Director Jeon is accused of removing the memory card from Kim's vehicle's black box (evidence tampering, etc.).
