The first cohort of Jeonnam Student Diplomats announced on the 30th that they will carry out diplomatic activities under the theme "Jeonnam Students' Diplomacy with the World" at the "2023 Glocal Future Education Expo."
Launched in February, they will engage in diplomatic activities targeting students from participating countries at the International Education Pavilion during the expo, as well as perform choreography related to the expo's theme.

The diplomats' activities include ▲guiding visitors at the International Education Pavilion booth ▲performing the theme choreography ▲K-Dance one-day class (with HOOK) ▲participation in the opening special performance (EduDream K-pop Concert), among others.
Jang Tae-hwan, principal of Muan Middle School and head of the Jeonnam Student Diplomats, along with the members, conducted preparatory activities on the 18th at the Jeonnam Office of Education Research and Information Center.
Lee Gil-hoon, president of the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation, said, "I hope that through this expo activity, the global capabilities of the Jeonnam Student Diplomats will be further strengthened," adding, "The Jeonnam Student Diplomats will play a pivotal role as glocal future talents of Jeonnam, bridging the local region and the world."
