Dongkook Pharmaceutical Launches Vitamin Health Supplement 'Elina C & Immune'

Elina C&Immune is a product that strengthens immune components in the high-dose vitamin Elina C, which was released in 2021. Each packet contains 2000 mg of vitamin C at an optimal dose for irritation-free intake, 2000 IU of vitamin D to help bone health and reduce the risk of osteoporosis, and 10 mg of zinc (based on the daily recommended intake for adult men) necessary for normal cell division and immune function.

Vitamin C, which acts as a coenzyme in enzymatic reactions within our body, is an essential component involved in collagen synthesis that forms connective tissues such as skin, skeleton, blood vessels, and cartilage, and protects cells from harmful oxygen species through its antioxidant action. Since it is not synthesized by the body itself, it must be ingested externally; however, excessive intake can cause gastrointestinal disorders, so it is important to take an appropriate amount.
