The domestic powdered curry market is estimated to be worth about 90 billion KRW, with Ottogi holding approximately 83% market share. Ottogi continuously expands its lineup based on steady research and development that considers consumer needs, offering products such as 100% vegan curry made with only vegan ingredients for the growing vegetarian population, and world curry featuring flavors from around the globe to cater to consumers who prefer unique curry tastes. These efforts have earned consistent love from a diverse range of consumers.

Ottogi Curry has diversified its forms along with changing times, and the secret to maintaining the undisputed number one market position for over half a century is attributed to continuous research and development aimed at improving quality. During the wellness boom in 2003, Ottogi introduced 'Baekse Curry,' which increased turmeric content by 57.4% and included rosemary and bay leaves. In 2009, to enhance cooking convenience, Ottogi became the first in Korea to launch granulated curry that dissolves better in water.

In 2012, reflecting positive perceptions of fermented products, Ottogi released 'Fermented Turmeric Curry,' and in 2014, introduced '3-Minute Lentil Curry,' made primarily from lentils. In 2017, Ottogi launched '3-Day Aged Curry,' featuring a sauce aged for three days with beef, fruit, and beef bone broth, enhanced with spices. Following the 2020 release of 'Children's Curry,' which lowered sodium compared to existing curries and added calcium and DHA, Ottogi launched the vegan specialty brand 'Hello Veggie' in April 2022 along with 'Vegetable-Filled Curry.'
