Gyeongbuk Office of Education to Hold Open Recruitment for 243 Kitchen Staff and 36 Special Education Assistants

Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) will openly recruit 279 new education administrative staff in the second half of this year.

This recruitment is being conducted to timely allocate personnel to educational sites where vacancies have occurred. The number of recruits by job category is 243 cooks and 36 special education assistants.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and under 60, and anyone whose address is in Gyeongbuk from the start date of application submission until the final exam date (interview date) is eligible to apply.

However, for special education assistants, applicants must have at least a high school diploma in accordance with the Enforcement Rules of the Act on Special Education for Persons with Disabilities, etc.

Applicants can submit their applications in person at the application reception center, by registered mail, or by email during the seven-day period from June 7 to June 13.

For this exam, an online application system will be piloted for the special education assistant position, which requires a first-round written test, and the scope of online applications will be expanded to other positions starting next year.

The first-round written test (personality test and job competency test) for the special education assistant position will be held on July 6, followed by the second-round interview on July 25, with the final successful candidates to be announced on August 1.
