Kim Daehwan, Professor at Pukyong National University, Receives Academic Achievement Award from Korea Sports Industry Management Association

Professor Kim Daehwan (Department of Marine Sports) from Pukyong National University has received the 2024 Academic Achievement Award from the Korea Society for Sport Industry Management (President: Cho Songhyun).

Professor Kim Daehwan was selected as this year's recipient of the Academic Achievement Award for his contributions to the society, including his role as a reviewer for the Korea Society for Sport Industry Management Journal, at the society's spring academic conference recently held at Pukyong National University.

Professor Kim Daehwan is actively engaged in academic research in fields such as sports marketing and sports consumer behavior, and currently serves as the head of the Department of Marine Sports in the School of Smart Healthcare at Pukyong National University.

Founded in November 1995, the Korea Society for Sport Industry Management is one of the leading academic societies in the fields of sports industry management and marketing. The society conducts research related to sports industry and management theory and practice, hosts international and domestic academic conferences, and contributes to the development of the sports industry and management field.
