Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is operating the "Used Car Diagnostic Evaluation Specialist Training Course" in collaboration with the Seoul 50+ Foundation Dongbu Campus to strengthen the employment capabilities of middle-aged individuals aged 40 to 64.

This program trains specialists who diagnose vehicle conditions and calculate evaluation prices during used car transactions. It provides job training to obtain the Level 2 Automobile Diagnostic Evaluator certification.

Graduates of the training program can receive support for employment connections in related industries.

The training period is from July 15 to October 7. Classes are held twice a week for 4 hours each day at the Gwangjin Economic Hub Center. Participants will receive theoretical and practical education on the basic principles of automobiles, maintenance methods, repairs, and diagnostic evaluation.

The training is supported by the Seoul 50+ Foundation Dongbu Campus. Tuition is completely free, but participants must achieve an attendance rate of 80% or higher to receive a certificate of completion and employment connection services.

The program is recruiting 30 participants, targeting middle-aged residents of Seoul born between 1959 and 1984. Applicants must have the intention to seek employment and be able to complete the training. Applications are open until June 16 on the Seoul 50 Plus Portal.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We have prepared a professional education opportunity to help middle-aged individuals seeking reemployment," and added, "We will do our best to discover quality jobs that meet the needs of job seekers."
