Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Visits Ilseong Middle and High School Poetry Recitation Contest to Encourage Participants

Park Gang-su, the mayor of Mapo District, visited the poetry recitation contest venue at Ilseong Girls' Middle and High School on the afternoon of the 29th.

Ilseong Girls' Middle and High School (Principal Lee Seon-jae) is holding a poetry recitation contest from the 29th to the 30th. On the 29th, the recitation contest for 14 teams from Ilseong Girls' High School took place.

Before the contest, Mayor Park Gang-su said, "I support you in sharing beautiful poems with the heart of a poet," and added, "There is also a 'Poet's Street' along the Nanji Theme Tourism Forest Trail in Mapo District, where flowers bloom all year round. Please be sure to visit and fill your heart with poetry."

Ilseong Girls' Middle and High School is a two-year accredited lifelong school where female adult learners study middle and high school courses. This year, Mapo District supported the school through educational expense subsidies for facility improvements and program operations.
