The "2024 International Fire Safety Expo," held under the theme "K-Fire Industry, To the World and the Future!" featured participation from over 389 fire safety companies from 30 countries. The event showcased a variety of cutting-edge equipment and technologies, including smart safety devices, fire site robots, non-fire alarm detectors, and electric vehicle fire suppression equipment.
Students who attended the expo shared their impressions, saying, "It was great to experience fire safety facilities that we were not familiar with and to receive practical advice through conversations with professionals working at various fire safety companies."
Through this expo, students had a valuable opportunity to see how the theories learned at school are applied in real industrial settings, to understand various industries related to fire safety, and to enhance their employability and understanding of their major.
The Department of Fire Safety Management at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology plans to continue improving practical skills by accumulating field experience and directly encountering the latest fire safety technologies through field trip programs like this expo.
