The Fair Trade Commission has detected signs of manipulation and false representation of probability-based items in games by Krafton and Com2uS, and has launched on-site investigations.
According to industry sources on the 28th, the Fair Trade Commission sent investigators to the headquarters of Krafton and Com2uS to conduct inquiries into materials related to probability-based items. The games in question are Krafton's "Battleground" and Com2uS's "Starseed: Asnia Trigger."
The Fair Trade Commission is known to have initiated investigations after detecting indications that information about item appearance probabilities was misrepresented, causing consumer harm.
Previously, the Fair Trade Commission conducted on-site investigations into NCSoft, Gravity, and Wemade regarding related suspicions.
