Gwangju Veterans Hospital (Director Lee Sam-yong) is making efforts to improve innovative medical services.


Gwangju Veterans Hospital recently held a medical staff workshop and announced on the 28th that they discussed strengthening the role of the public hospital for veterans' families and local residents, as well as enhancing medical expertise and quality of care.

Director Lee Sam-yong, executives, and over 70 medical staff members from various departments divided into groups to gather diverse opinions, discussing and presenting on key discussion topics.


Each group engaged in in-depth discussions on major hospital issues such as ▲ efficient operation of inpatient rooms ▲ revitalization of outpatient care ▲ securing appropriate staffing levels.


They also discussed ways to advance the Medical Cooperation Center. The Medical Cooperation Center plays a multifaceted role in supporting smooth medical care when patients are transferred from or to other hospitals. During this workshop, measures to strengthen the role of the Medical Cooperation Center were reviewed.


Director Lee Sam-yong stated, “This workshop was an opportunity to hear various opinions from medical staff to improve the quality of medical services and enhance management efficiency,” adding, “We will carefully review the opinions and do our best to faithfully fulfill the role of a public hospital for veterans' families and local residents.”
