Apply to Daejeon Job and Economic Promotion Agency by July 3
Daejeon City announced that it is recruiting promising small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with high growth potential.
The recruitment targets are SMEs engaged in manufacturing, manufacturing-related services, knowledge industries, and video industries that have been operating their headquarters or factories in Daejeon for more than three years as of the announcement date, the 28th. Companies that have been operating for more than three years by combining their business periods in other regions are also eligible.
The city will evaluate applicant companies based on growth potential, settlement and contribution, financial status, and technical capabilities, and after deliberation by the Daejeon SME Support Agency Council, plans to select around 30 companies by October.
Selected promising SMEs will receive benefits such as △preferential interest support for SME management stabilization funds △special credit guarantee and expanded Seoul Guarantee support △preferential participation in domestic and international exhibitions and fairs △a three-year deferral of local tax audits. The certification period is five years from the designation date.
Companies wishing to apply can visit or send their applications by mail to the Corporate Growth Support Team at the Daejeon Job and Economy Promotion Agency by July 3.
Son Bong-cheol, Director of the Corporate Investment Attraction Division of Daejeon City, said, “The purpose of the promising SME support project is to discover and support the growth of SMEs that will lead Daejeon City,” and added, “We hope for active participation from local SMEs with excellent technology, management, and sales capabilities.”
