Toss to Operate Workplace Daycare Centers... "Introducing in Gangnam, Pangyo, Songpa"

"Establishing Practical Childcare Support Measures"

Viva Republica, the operator of the mobile financial service Toss, announced on the 28th that it will introduce the workplace daycare system "Our Neighborhood Toss Daycare" starting in June. This is to provide a stable childcare environment so that employees with preschool children can reduce childcare burdens and focus on their work.

Our Neighborhood Toss Daycare will be operated in a "hub-type" method in cooperation with daycares near employees' residences. This is more convenient than operating near the workplace. The operating areas are three locations: Gangnam, Pangyo, and Songpa.

Toss explained that it actively reflected employees' opinions from the introduction to the selection of the system. The selection criteria considered accessibility to the residential area, a high-quality curriculum, excellent staff, and whether the daycare had obtained an A grade in the Ministry of Health and Welfare evaluation system. Additionally, requests such as forming a zero-year-old class, providing healthy meals priced at 5,500 KRW or more, and operating until 7:30 PM were accommodated. A "Welcome Kit" containing enrollment preparation items is also provided for employees who are new to childcare.

Going forward, Toss plans to establish welfare programs related to "childcare helpers" as part of its parenting support measures. Through this system, employees will be assisted in smoothly hiring childcare helpers, and individual support will be provided if any difficulties arise after hiring.

A Toss representative said, "Toss has long been considering practical childcare support measures and has made efforts to listen to and reflect team members' opinions from the system introduction stage," adding, "We will continue to spare no effort to support meeting team members' needs in a customized way through welfare programs that are true to Toss’s values."
