Jangseong-gun Operates Intensive Management Period for High-Risk Groups Including Anxiety and Depression

Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do is operating a focused management period to help residents experiencing psychological difficulties such as anxiety and depression.

The county announced on the 27th that posters containing information about support agencies have been posted at senior centers, apartments, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, and banners guiding the changed counseling phone number ‘109’ have also been installed since this year.

Mobile counseling rooms are also being operated to enable early detection of mental health issues, and life guardian training for local residents is underway.

An official from the Jangseong-gun Public Health Center said, “If you are experiencing psychological difficulties, please do not hesitate to seek help from professional institutions,” adding, “We will strive to spread an emotional culture that values life throughout the local community.”
