[2024 Apartment Brand Awards] GS Construction Launches First Xi in Suncheon, 'Suncheon Grand Park Xi'

GS Construction, which won the High-Quality Design category at this year's Asia Economy Apartment Brand Awards, will launch its first 'Xi' brand apartment in Jeonnam Suncheon, called 'Suncheon Grand Park Xi,' next month.

'Suncheon Grand Park Xi' will be built in Block 2 of the Suncheon Pungdeok District Urban Development Project, located at 327-3 Pungdeok-dong, Suncheon-si, Jeonnam. The complex consists of 9 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, with a total of 997 units sized between 84 and 206㎡. The number of units by type is △84㎡A 445 units △84㎡B 136 units △102㎡ 86 units △110㎡ 106 units △115㎡ 58 units △130㎡A 110 units △130㎡B 54 units △206㎡ 2 units. Move-in is scheduled for the first half of 2027.

Near the complex is the Suncheon Bay National Garden. As Korea's first national garden, Suncheon Bay National Garden spans 926,992㎡ (approximately 280,000 pyeong), about twice the size of Seoul Forest. The Ocheon Green Plaza, a core part of Suncheon’s plaza culture connected to the national garden, is also located right in front of the complex for easy access.

Suncheon Grand Park Xi is the first complex to be sold in the Suncheon Pungdeok District. The district will be equipped with infrastructure including planned single-family housing sites and commercial facilities.

Many convenience facilities are located near the complex. KTX and SRT Suncheon Station is a 10-minute drive away. The wide-area transportation network, including Suncheon IC and Dong Suncheon IC, is well established. Homeplus, E-Mart, and Megabox are within walking distance. Pungdeok Elementary and Pungdeok Middle Schools are accessible on foot, and the academy district is conveniently reachable. Palma National Sports Center and Palma Stadium, where residents can enjoy cultural and sports activities, are also nearby.

Suncheon Grand Park Xi maximizes natural light by arranging all units primarily in a south-facing 4-bay layout. The distance between buildings is secured up to 130 meters. Each unit type is designed with features such as pantries and dressing rooms to efficiently utilize indoor space.

The community center 'Club Xi-an' within the complex will feature Suncheon's first sky lounge. From the sky lounge, residents can enjoy panoramic views of Suncheon Bay National Garden. The complex will also include a small library offering Kyobo Bookstore's book curation service, a GDR golf practice range, sauna, fitness club, cafeteria, and an open coffee station (OCS) with a lounge. A GS Construction sales representative stated, "We will apply specialized designs and systems to enhance resident satisfaction."
