In particular, patrols on the water quality status of major river areas will be strengthened, and crackdowns will be conducted using a pollution source backtracking method.

The city plans to promote the special crackdown plan for businesses discharging environmental pollutants in advance to raise compliance awareness among operators and will focus on monitoring and cracking down on proper management of discharge and prevention facilities and illegal discharges during July and August.

Violations such as exceeding discharge permit standards and unauthorized wastewater discharge found during the crackdown will be subject to strong measures, including administrative actions or prosecution according to relevant laws.
