Recently, a 'meat trimming' video posted by a YouTuber received high interest among netizens. This YouTuber is known as a 'household expert' YouTuber, providing tips on preparing ingredients that are not easily accessible to the general public.

The video content was about how to trim chunk meat. The YouTuber explained in detail how to distinguish each part from the chunk of meat, how to separate and cut off fat and fascia, and how to remove only the tough parts that are hard to eat. They also encouraged viewers by saying, "There is no need to be afraid of trimming meat. Anyone can do it."

Customers looking for chunk meat at warehouse-style marts are also increasing. According to a 'YTN' report, buying chunk pork at warehouse stores is up to 13% cheaper compared to trimmed packaged meat sold at regular retail stores. Since the beginning of this year until the 22nd, sales of chunk meat at 22 Emart warehouse discount stores increased by 36% compared to the same period last year.


Interest in cooking knives, which were mainly sought after by chefs or trimmers in the past, is also growing. A sharp knife is important to separate thick meat fat and slice thinly. Tips on how to sharpen knives at home using a whetstone are also being shared online.
