From Idols to Actors, Famous Celebrities Chosen
Broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk's move from his residence in Hyundai Apartment, Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to the luxury apartment ‘Brighton N40’ in Nonhyeon-dong has become a hot topic. As a high-end residential complex supplied in 2022 in Nonhyeon-dong, a traditional affluent neighborhood in Seoul, it has attracted the choice of many celebrities.
Famous individuals who chose Brighton N40 include L (Kim Myung-soo) from the 2nd generation idol group Infinite, actress Han Hyo-joo, Oh Yeon-seo, and broadcaster Lee Hwi-jae. L from Infinite purchased one unit of the 128㎡ exclusive type at Brighton N40 at the end of August last year and registered it at the end of November the same year. The housing type consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. L bought it for 3.96229 billion KRW, and a mortgage of 1.43 billion KRW was set on the registration certificate.
Oh Yeon-seo also purchased a unit last year. She bought an 84㎡ exclusive unit for 2.71 billion KRW entirely in cash. Actress Han Hyo-joo is known to be residing there after renting one unit in 2022 and then signing a lease-to-own contract. Brighton N40 initially supplied its first phase units through a ‘lease-to-own’ method, and all those units were sold out. The second phase units were supplied through a sale method that did not require a subscription savings account.
Broadcaster Lee Hwi-jae acquired a penthouse of 174㎡ exclusive area in August last year for 6.4211 billion KRW. Since no mortgage was set, it appears to have been purchased entirely in cash.
Brighton N40 consists of 5 buildings with 4 basement floors and 5 to 10 above-ground floors, totaling 148 households. It includes 140 units ranging from 84 to 176㎡ exclusive area and 8 penthouses ranging from 171 to 248㎡ exclusive area. The residence Yoo Jae-suk purchased is a 199㎡ exclusive penthouse (199T type), notable for its private large terrace.
It is conveniently located near Hannam Bridge, Olympic-daero, and Gyeongbu Expressway, making travel by car easy. Behind the complex is Hakdong Park, spanning about 30,000㎡. In front of the main gate of the complex are the GIA International School and a well-known private elementary school, and a ‘Public Cultural Complex Building’ housing a library is also located in front of the complex. The complex is equipped with a triple security system covering the perimeter, inside the complex, and inside the units. A butler resides in the building, providing customized luxury hotel services such as room cleaning, laundry, business support, travel reservations, and home styling.
