Starting Sunday afternoon on the 26th, rain will begin in the central region, the western coast of Jeolla, the southern coast, and Jeju Island, spreading nationwide by night.


The expected rainfall over the two days until the 27th is 20?60mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Yeongseo area of Gangwon, northern Chungnam, and central to northern Chungbuk; 10?40mm in Daejeon, Sejong, southern Chungnam, southern Chungbuk, Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, inland northern Gyeongbuk, Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, and Jeju Island (excluding the northern part); 5?30mm in the five western islands; and 5?20mm in Daegu, Gyeongbuk (excluding inland northern areas), Yeongdong area of Gangwon, Ulleungdo, Dokdo, and northern Jeju Island.


From late afternoon, some areas will experience heavy rain at a rate of 10?20mm per hour (20?30mm per hour in the Seoul metropolitan area, Yeongseo of Gangwon, and northern Chungcheong).


Due to strong atmospheric instability, most regions nationwide may experience gusty winds accompanied by thunder and lightning, so caution is advised to prevent safety accidents.


The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 10 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 22 and 29 degrees Celsius.


Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of precipitation.


Sea waves will be 0.5?2.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5?1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters.


Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5?3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5?2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5?2.5 meters in the South Sea.
