On the 25th, Seol posted a lengthy apology on social media (SNS), saying, "I was careless." She said, "For the past few days, there have been doubts about me even among those who trust me on SNS and around me," adding, "To give trust even to those who know me and to avoid being doubted, I posted photos of our friends along with a message, but I did not expect it to become news."

Following the recent workplace harassment controversy involving dog trainer Kang Hyung-wook, Seol posted photos with her staff on SNS, writing, "We have been together for 8 years, 7 years, 6 years, and 3 years. I try my best for my staff. You don’t have to worry about me being abusive. Honestly, without that, I’m a corpse," which was seen as a response to criticism that her comment was careless.

Seol expressed regret, saying, "It was a mistake I took lightly. Even though I knew it might be seen this way, I explained because I hated being unfairly doubted, but looking back now, it wasn’t a big news story and was probably just opinions from some people who don’t like me, so I overreacted." She added, "I have learned once again through all of you and will learn to be more patient again," and wrote, "I apologize to those who were uncomfortable because of my short-sightedness, and from now on, I will be more cautious in my words and actions and focus on discussing culture and wrongdoings rather than personal matters."

Seol is known for appearing in many pet-related broadcasting programs such as No Bad Dogs in the World and Dogs and Cats That Need Conversation as a pet trainer and veterinarian.

Meanwhile, dog trainer Kang, who has been accused of monitoring his employees with closed-circuit television (CCTV) and using abusive language, issued a rebuttal regarding the controversy surrounding him on the 24th, a week after the allegations surfaced. However, former employees have raised counterclaims against Kang’s statements, keeping the controversy ongoing.
