Family Experience Program Held for About 80 Participants
Fathers in Ulsan gathered at a strawberry farm.
On the 25th, the Ulsan city government announced that about 80 people, including members of the 6th class of the "Ulsan 100 Fathers Group" and their families, will participate in a strawberry farm experience program at the "Nariberry Farm."
This event was organized to promote children's holistic development, provide nature-friendly experiences, and strengthen the bond between fathers and their children.
The event will be divided into two groups, starting at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and will include activities such as strawberry picking, making strawberry syrup, and making strawberry skewers.
An official from Ulsan city said, "This strawberry farm experience is the first program to be held since the formation of the 6th class of the '100 Fathers Group.' We hope it will be an opportunity for fathers and children to appreciate the importance of family together."
The "100 Fathers Group" is operated as part of a project to raise awareness about low birth rates, jointly run by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ulsan city, and the Ulsan branch of the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association. The 6th class of the "100 Fathers Group" selected all 130 applicants and held a launching ceremony in April. Various programs, including weekly online parenting missions, experience programs, and parenting mentoring, are planned to run until December.
