Busan City and Dancing Cup Join Forces... Promoting Smart Busan Bus Use and Proper Coffee Culture

Collaboration with Busan-Based Company 'Dancingcup' Brings Changes to Policy and Beverage Culture

Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan City Bus Transportation Business Association (Chairman: Sung Hyundo) will promote the "New City Bus Policies Starting This Year" campaign from May to August, in cooperation with the local company Dancing Cup (CEO: Cho Giwon).

Busan City and Dancing Cup Join Forces... Promoting Smart Busan Bus Use and Proper Coffee Culture Promotional Material Draft.

Dancing Cup, established in 2021 and headquartered in Busan, is a coffee franchise. DANCING CUP operates 120 stores nationwide, with 61 of them located in Busan.

This campaign is designed to naturally inform citizens visiting Dancing Cup stores in Busan about how to use Busan city buses and proper beverage etiquette.

Recognizing the high consumption of single-use packaged coffee during summer, this is the first initiative in the country to collaborate with a local coffee shop for such a campaign. It aims to provide information on using Busan buses while also promoting proper beverage culture through this unique approach.

This lifestyle-focused campaign, utilizing popular summer relaxation spaces for citizens, is expected to play a significant role.

First, the city will display "Smart Busan Bus Usage & Proper Beverage Culture" promotional posters inside all 61 Dancing Cup stores in Busan, and promote city policies through various publicity channels.

Specifically, the campaign includes: ▲Guidelines for smart bus usage printed at the bottom of receipts ▲Promotional content displayed on unmanned ordering kiosks ▲Stickers attached to cup holders, among other methods.

Cho Giwon, CEO of Dancing Cup, stated, "Busan is a city perfect for coffee, and with this slogan, we are leading a high-quality coffee culture with excellent ingredients. As a coffee franchise headquartered in the region, we are very pleased to participate in this event, and we will continue to strive to be a local company that contributes to city policies and a proper coffee culture."

Lee Bonggeol, Director of City Bus Operations, said, "Buses have long been the most familiar means of transportation for citizens, and our city will do its best to create a safe and pleasant environment for bus users. In addition, we will continue to promote the new city bus policies through various public-private collaboration methods to alleviate any inconvenience for citizens."

Until August, the city will attach QR code stickers in three locations inside city buses (front left window, rear left window, and back door) to conduct a satisfaction survey on city bus services.

Participants in the survey will be entered into a draw to receive small commemorative gifts, and the results of the survey will be reflected as much as possible when establishing plans to improve city bus services.
