Gyeryong Group KR Industry Wins Contract for Sejong-Pocheon Expressway 'Cheoin Rest Facility'

Scheduled to Open Along with the Main Highway Line Opening at the End of November

Gyeryong Group's KR Industry announced that it has won the contract for the 'Cheoin Rest Area,' the first gateway of the Sejong-Pocheon Expressway.

In the bid issued by Korea Expressway Corporation, Gyeryong Group was selected as the preferred negotiation partner by proposing advanced operational systems such as robot services and futuristic convenience stores, as well as premium dining areas and high-quality interior design.

The Cheoin Rest Area is an elevated rest facility with a total floor area of 7,946㎡, combining advanced service facilities and upscale amenities to provide a new level of service to expressway users in the future.

KR Industry plans to open the Cheoin Rest Area along with the main line opening of the Sejong-Pocheon Expressway at the end of November this year.
