Gyeongsangbuk-do Cheongsong-gun and National Assembly member Park Hyungsoo held the "2025 National Budget Policy Council" on May 24 in the main conference room of the county office to strengthen communication between local governments and the National Assembly for securing the 2025 national budget.
The policy council was attended by Yoon Kyunghee, the governor of Cheongsong-gun, National Assembly member Park Hyungsoo, as well as provincial council members, county council members, and heads of departments and offices.
Cheongsong-gun explained the progress of five key projects, including the Cheongsong Forest Leisure Sports Resort Development Project, the Cheongsong Public Rental Housing Youth Village Construction Project, and the Jinbo Female Correctional Officer Public Rental Housing Project, and requested active support for these pending issues.
In addition, the necessity and progress of 25 proposed national budget projects for 2025, including the early construction of the North-South 9-axis Expressway, were explained in detail, and it was agreed that the National Assembly and local governments would actively cooperate to secure the national budget in the future.
Yoon Kyunghee, the governor, said, "I ask for the National Assembly's continued interest and cooperation to ensure the smooth progress of major projects for the development of Cheongsong-gun."
In response, National Assembly member Park Hyungsoo stated, "Having been elected in the 22nd general election as a representative of a new constituency, I will listen even more closely to the voices of the region and work hard for local development."
