On the 23rd, a post titled "My Friend Who Caught the Bouquet at My Wedding but Had an Affair with My Husband" was uploaded to an online community. As of 1 p.m. on the 24th, the post had garnered 234,000 views and 1,000 recommendations, becoming a major topic of discussion. The author, A, began by saying, "Time has passed, so I feel a little better now, but when I first found out, I couldn't handle it. I wanted to tell everyone everywhere, but I held back."

B, the friend and the other woman, reportedly subtly flaunted the fact that she had been dating A's husband for a long time. B hinted at the affair by posting photos of the husband's hand and the edge of his clothes on her blog. A said, "They went on more trips together than I did after getting married," adding, "I was stupid to trust and let him go. Looking at social media, there were posts with cringeworthy captions about gifts from my husband and the hotels they stayed at together. It seemed like they had a really fun time."

A explained, "B and I have been friends since middle school, and I married my husband after dating him for eight years. The two of them already knew each other. It seems the affair started less than a month after the wedding." She continued, "B attended the wedding and even caught the bouquet, which she put in a glass bottle and gave to me. She also gave me a wedding congratulation cake and sent food when I was unwell. I don't know what she was thinking."

According to A, even while dating her husband, B contacted A and sent photos claiming she was on a date with her boyfriend, cleverly hiding the fact that it was actually her husband. She even asked A for advice, saying she had broken up with her boyfriend. A said, "I suddenly became curious about B's psychology. I don't know what kind of deficiency she has to meet my husband, knowing he is my friend. I wanted to tell people around me, but I felt like I was just wasting my emotions, so I held back." She added, "I am currently pursuing a lawsuit for adultery. There is nothing else I can do. I feel like my life is ruined. I am depressed and don't know what to do," seeking advice.

Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as, "The husband is strange too," "The best way is to tell acquaintances and shame them," "You can start over," "The friend probably never considered A a real friend," "It must feel like a huge betrayal," "This is like a real-life version of Kim Gun-mo's wrong relationships," "The husband is the worst," "They probably were seeing both sides even before marriage," "If it were me, I would pay fines and spread rumors everywhere," and "They probably liked each other from the start, but the timing didn't work out, so they had an affair after A married."

Meanwhile, according to a 2016 survey on sexual life in Korea conducted by LINA Life Insurance's Health & Life Membership Services 'Jeonseonggi' and 'Heyday' targeting 1,090 adult men and women, 50.8% of adult men and 9.3% of adult women reported having had an affair. The experience of affairs among adult men tends to increase by an average of 4% per age group, with a sharp rise of 6.1% in their 40s. Additionally, when investigating the 'number of lifetime affair partners' among those over 50 who had affairs, men averaged 12.5 partners, while women averaged 4.3.
