Nongshim announced that it will launch the second installment of the Potato Chip Meoktae series, "Potato Chip Meoktae Gochujang Mayo Flavor," on the 27th. The gochujang mayo used in the new product is a sauce combining gochujang (Korean chili paste) and mayonnaise. It highlights a spicy kick and a savory taste. The product was developed inspired by popular pub menus that combine the umami of gochujang mayo and meoktae (dried pollack). Previously, Nongshim’s Meoktaekkang, launched in June last year, sold a cumulative 23 million packs by April this year, establishing itself as a representative meoktae snack. Also, the Potato Chip Meoktae Cheongyang Mayo flavor, released in January this year, ranks second in sales among the Potato Chip series after the original product, contributing to the growth of the Potato Chip brand’s sales.

CJ CheilJedang announced the launch of "Baeksul Charcoal Grilled Fire Chicken Frank," which delivers a fiery spiciness. The new product is a follow-up to Baeksul’s steady seller "Charcoal Grilled Galbi Frank." It features a special spicy fire sauce that creates an addictive spicy flavor and enhances aroma with a charcoal-grilled scent. CJ CheilJedang applied a differentiated two-step oven method using steam and hot air, maximizing a chewy exterior and moist interior texture. Pre-cooked in the oven, it can be conveniently prepared in just 30 seconds using a microwave, or for a crispier texture, pan-fried for about 2 minutes and 30 seconds according to preference. The packaging uses the brand colors yellow and red, along with a round pattern design used in Gold Mayonnaise, making it immediately recognizable as a collaboration product with Gold Mayonnaise. To prepare, place the sauce and Ottogi rice in the container, cover with a microwave-safe lid, and heat for 2 minutes at 700W or 1 minute 20 seconds at 1000W, then add mayonnaise and mix evenly before eating.
