On the 24th, Im Eui-ja, a member of the People Power Party, said at a floor strategy meeting held at the National Assembly, "The essence of the controversy surrounding Mrs. Kim is not whether she was the host of the invitation, but whether the executive power was used for Mrs. Kim's personal desires in each controversy," adding, "If she bought clothes with taxpayers' money, toured, and fabricated overseas schedules, this is a clear case of state affairs manipulation." She continued, "A special prosecutor is introduced when existing investigative agencies fail to make proper progress," and emphasized, "The controversy surrounding Mrs. Kim precisely meets the conditions for the activation of a special prosecutor."

Song Eon-seok, a member of the People Power Party, also said, "The budget increased to 400 million won due to Mrs. Kim accompanying the trip to India," adding, "Because about 240 million won increased due to a dedicated plane taking off for Mrs. Kim's accompaniment." He said, "As many as 23 Blue House personnel accompanied the trip at that time, and among these 23 people was the daughter of the designer who has recently become an issue," and added, "I think this matter should be investigated by the prosecution and police. I earnestly request the Democratic Party, which holds an overwhelming majority in the floor, to propose a special prosecutor law."

After the meeting, Choo Kyung-ho, the floor leader of the People Power Party, was asked by reporters whether the party would officially push for a special prosecutor for Mrs. Kim. He replied, "Since the 21st National Assembly is coming to an end, there is no time to discuss it at the party level," adding, "When the 22nd National Assembly begins, we will seriously review and proceed with how to handle it. (Today) we strongly raised the issue of the necessity of a special prosecutor law." He also expressed his intention to "consult with the 22nd National Assembly members and gather consensus."
