Samsung Electronics is down over 2% in early trading. The news that high-bandwidth memory (HBM) failed Nvidia's delivery test is believed to have affected the stock price.
As of 9:27 a.m. on the 24th, Samsung Electronics is trading at 76,700 KRW, down 1,600 KRW (2.04%) from the previous day.
According to sources, Samsung Electronics' 5th generation HBM, the HBM3E 8-stack and 12-stack products, reportedly failed Nvidia's delivery test due to issues with heat and power consumption.
