APR Unveils 'MediCube Hongdae' and 'MediCube in The Hyundai'
Try Cosmetics and Beauty Devices Before Purchase
Beauty tech company APR has consecutively opened offline stores where customers can directly experience Mediheal Cube brand products. The strategy is to increase customer touchpoints through on-site experiences.
APR announced on the 24th that it has opened offline Mediheal Cube brand stores in Hongdae and Yeouido, providing opportunities for on-site customer experiences and product purchases.
APR explained that although the brand is mainly operated through its official online mall, it opened offline stores to offer differentiated customer experiences. APR has previously operated a pop-up store at Hyundai Department Store Pangyo in July 2022 and a pop-up store in Hongdae, Seoul in June 2023.
The 'Mediheal Cube Hongdae' flagship store, which opened first in Hongdae on the 18th, has been attracting not only domestic customers but also foreign tourists since its early days, APR said. Located on the first floor of the NERDY flagship store near Hongdae Entrance Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul, this is the same location where the pop-up store was held last June. This area is known for its young demographic and high foreign foot traffic.
APR decorated the store interior mainly with the main object 'Ultra Bear' in baby pink and white colors. To commemorate the offline store operation, a limited edition 'Booster Pro Ultra Bear Edition' featuring bright colors and a bear-shaped head case was also introduced. Various Mediheal Cube AGE-R beauty devices, including the recently launched new product 'Ultra Tune 40.68', can be directly experienced at the store's 'AGE-R Tester Zone'. Additionally, there is a 'Skin Measurement Zone' that measures skin type and recommends cosmetics, as well as a 'Photo Zone' where visitors can take various certified photos.
On the 23rd, Mediheal Cube's pop-up store 'Mediheal Cube in The Hyundai' was unveiled at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido. Mediheal Cube in The Hyundai features the main object Ultra Bear and the same experience and photo zones as in Hongdae, while also incorporating differentiated elements. APR's brands 'April Skin' and 'Forment' have their pop-up spaces arranged side by side, and a Hyundai Seoul exclusive '40.68 Stopwatch Event' is held to commemorate the launch of Ultra Tune 40.68. This pop-up store will run for about two weeks until the 5th of next month on the B2 floor of The Hyundai Seoul.
An APR representative said, "Offline provides a different customer experience from online, and especially the ability to experience products in real time is an advantage that can quickly and strongly attract customers," adding, "As the brand grows, we will continue to diversify customer touchpoints by combining the strengths of both online and offline."
Meanwhile, to celebrate the opening of the two stores, APR will conduct various promotions available only at offline stores. During the event period, special discount prices will be applied to Mediheal Cube product purchases at each store, and various gifts including visitor souvenirs will also be provided.
