Bio Association and Seoul Bio Hub Sign Agreement to Foster Outstanding Startups

The Korea Bio Association announced on the 24th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seoul Bio Hub on the 23rd to operate a bio-industry cooperation program and foster startups with excellent technologies.

Starting with this collaboration, the two organizations plan to promote various joint projects, including ▲discovering startups with outstanding technologies ▲joint development and operation of bio-specialized education programs ▲joint promotion, networking, and support for global expansion.


Kim Hyun-woo, Director of Seoul Bio Hub, said, "The signing of the MOU with the Bio Association is the first step for Seoul Bio Hub to play a pivotal role in the domestic bio-industry beyond Seoul," adding, "We will work together with the Bio Association to support innovative startups and provide the optimal environment for their growth."


Lee Seung-gyu, Vice Chairman of the Bio Association, also stated, "Since continuous innovation is taking place in the bio-industry, active support for promising bio companies is necessary," and added, "Starting with this agreement, we will work together to actively support promising bio startups through building an open innovation ecosystem, share innovative ideas, and create global success stories."
